Muhammad Rosulullah Islamic Centre (MRIC) successfully held the 2nd Inaugural Occasion of the Selected Imams for Jumu'ah Khutbah, marking another milestone in its mission to promote authentic Islamic teachings and community leadership. The event celebrated the appointment of distinguished scholars entrusted with delivering the Friday sermons, reinforcing the Centre's commitment to nurturing knowledgeable, inspiring, and God-conscious leaders.
The Muhammad Rosulullah Islamic Centre (MRIC) proudly marked another significant milestone with the 2nd Inaugural Occasion of the Selected Imams for Jumu'ah Khutbah, a moment that reflects the Centre's unwavering commitment to nurturing knowledgeable, disciplined, and spiritually grounded Islamic leaders.
The inauguration ceremony officially recognized distinguished scholars who have been entrusted with the noble responsibility of delivering the weekly Jumu'ah Khutbah (Friday Sermon). This appointment is not only an honour but also a great amanah (trust), as the Khutbah serves as a means of educating, inspiring, and guiding the Muslim community according to the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah.

The event took place on Tuesday, 7th July 2026, at Muhammad Rosulullah Islamic Centre, Masjid 140, Ogunlana Drive, Surulere, Lagos, gathering members of the Muslim community in an atmosphere of gratitude, unity, and prayers.
